As a drywall finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with precision.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry properly.
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings for a professional finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.

Requirements

Education

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
