Key Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Demonstrate mountain driving expertise.
• Provide exceptional customer service with professionalism.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform inspections on tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
• Conduct brake adjustments and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
• Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
