This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a rural setting at our generating station and power plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and maintain station records, logs, and reports.
  • Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunctions.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain a daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure normal operations.
  • Operate automated or computerized control systems.

Work Environment

This role will be based in a noisy environment, typical of power plants, where you will be surrounded by advanced machinery and technology.

Requirements

  • Employment Duration: Permanent
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 42 hours per week
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: Will train.
