Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Maintain financial records and establish, balance, and maintain various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

Education

  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience

Computer and Technology Knowledge

  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Familiarity with Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, QuickBooks, Spreadsheet, Xero, and Sage Accounting Software

Equipment and Machinery Experience
