Job Overview

As a Welder-Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include interpreting welding specifications, operating various welding equipment, and ensuring that all welds meet our high standards. This is a permanent position with a standard work week of 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) (AOC).
• Utilize previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Welding Techniques

• Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
• Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)

Requirements

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 5 years or more in welding and fitting.
