Job Overview

As a Building Custodian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall appearance and functionality of our space.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
• Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
