Key Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in our clinic and animal hospital. Your tasks will include:

  • Collecting samples and performing laboratory tests
  • Handling, restraining, and caring for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
  • Producing diagnostic radiographs
  • Assisting veterinarians before, during, and after surgery
  • Preparing and administering medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
  • Administering treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
  • Counseling clients on animal health care
  • Performing routine animal dental procedures and assisting with animal dentistry
  • Providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
