Key Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in our clinic and animal hospital. Your tasks will include:
- Collecting samples and performing laboratory tests
- Handling, restraining, and caring for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Producing diagnostic radiographs
- Assisting veterinarians before, during, and after surgery
- Preparing and administering medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
- Administering treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Counseling clients on animal health care
- Performing routine animal dental procedures and assisting with animal dentistry
- Providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
