In this role, you will be at the forefront of emergency medical care, providing critical support to trauma victims and ensuring their safe transport to medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine necessary emergency medical treatment.
- Administer pre-hospital emergency care and advanced emergency treatments to patients.
- Transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities for further care.
- Document and record the nature of injuries and treatments provided.
- Assist hospital personnel with the provision of medical treatment as needed.
Requirements
- Education: College/CEGEP in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic)
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
- Certificates: Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
