About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the flow of information within the clinic
- Opening and distributing regular and electronic incoming mail and other materials
- Scheduling and confirming appointments for our clients
- Completing insurance and other claim forms
- Maintaining an organized filing system
- Ordering supplies and managing inventory
- Entering and formatting electronically based medical reports and correspondence
- Preparing spreadsheets and documents for review
- Initiating and maintaining confidential medical files and records
- Performing data entry tasks
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and electronic mail systems
- Experience with contracts, correspondence, financial statements, invoices, and reports
