What You'll Do

As a Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mounting plates or cylinders and making necessary adjustments
• Preparing production schedules and estimating costs
• Filling ink fountains and controlling colour and viscosity
• Setting up the press and operating at slow speed to check samples
• Instructing apprentices and directing the press crew
• Monitoring regular press runs for quality using a computer control console
• Removing and cleaning plates and cylinders at the end of press runs
• Setting up and adjusting in-line binding and finishing equipment

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Work Term: Permanent

• Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
