We’re seeking a relationship-oriented Client Service Associate to join our Toronto office. As a firm, we value teamwork, initiative, accountability, and a willingness to take ownership. Our culture is collaborative, with team members encouraged to contribute across multiple areas of the business.
This role provides exposure across client service, business development, marketing, and operations, helping the successful candidate develop a broad understanding of the business while building the skills, relationships, and business acumen required for long-term success in client-facing relationship management roles.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience while supporting relationships with clients, investment professionals, family offices, and other stakeholders.
  • Support business development initiatives, including prospect engagement, organizing client events, and assisting with conferences.
  • Collaborate internally and externally on marketing and brand-building initiatives, coordinating client communications, meeting materials, reporting, and follow-up activities.
  • Organize and support digital marketing efforts, including content development/thought leadership (LinkedIn), website updates and CRM campaigns.
  • Update and maintain accurate client, prospect records and distribution lists within CRM and other internal systems, and produce custom reports.
  • Presentation support/preparation: gather and organize information from portfolio management teams to support client meetings and communications (internal and external).
  • Support team members with client reporting, account analyses, and investment-related research.
  • Participate in manager oversight and KYP activities, including investment manager due diligence, portfolio analysis, strategy reviews, performance attribution, and monitoring of investment risks.
  • Support ongoing RFP, DDQ, and due diligence requests by coordinating information across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support client onboarding and review account documentation for completeness and accuracy, specifically: account openings, account maintenance requests, and account setup processes, including KYC/AML documentation.
  • Process operational requests, subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, other account-related transactions, invoicing, operational reconciliation activities, ad-hoc requests, and reporting.
  • Support workflow enhancements, process improvements, reporting automation (using AI), and efficiency initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to the continued growth of the firm.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, investment management, wealth management, or a related field.
  • Family office, wealth management, operations and client service experience are considered assets.
  • CFA designation or CFA Program candidacy (Level 1,2,3) or CIM are preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, client-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and works well independently.
  • Team-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
