Sign Painter (6-month contract)

Every project is different, which means every day brings new challenges and opportunities to create something unique. We're looking for a Sign Painter to join our team on a 6-month contract. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working with your hands, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do

• Prepare sign components and surfaces for painting and finishing
• Mix and match paint colours to required specifications
• Apply Matthews Paint and other coatings to a variety of custom signage products
• Ensure colour consistency and finish quality across all projects
• Review completed work for quality, appearance, and accuracy
• Assist with masking, sanding, cleaning, and surface preparation
• Maintain paint inventory and ensure materials are properly stored and handled
• Collaborate with production team members to meet project schedules and deadlines
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures

What You'll Bring

• Experience as a Sign Painter, Industrial Painter, Automotive Painter, or similar role
• Knowledge of Matthews Paint products and application techniques
• Experience mixing paints and colour matching
• Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
