Position:Youth For Christ - Moose Jaw Community Ministry Worker (part-time or full-time)
Hours:10-40 hours per week (flexible depending on applicant)
Duties:In partnership with the YFC-MJ Director; plan, prepare for, and lead community outreach ministries including: Weekly youth group events, JR High Drop in, and in school programsDevelop intentional one on one mentoring relationships with youthRecruit, train and encourage volunteersHelp develop and implement a social media strategy to promote programs and engage youthAttend weekly team meetingsAttend monthly YFC staff meetings in ReginaIn conjunction with the YFC Regina Partnership Coach create a plan to develop ministry partners for the purpose of prayer, encouragement, and financial supportParticipate at YFC Camp (August)Other opportunities as gifting, passion and time allows
Qualifications:Able to sign and abide by the YFC-R statement of faith and community standardsDriver’s License (class 5 novice 2 at minimum)Able to work independently and as part of a teamProvide a criminal record check, with vulnerable sector check, made out to Youth For Christ -Moose JawExperience working with youth an asset A Bachelor’s Degree (or in process) preferred
Compensation:To be determined based on successful candidates experience and education

Please send your Resume, and Cover Letter to [email protected] Compensation$35,000.00 annually *Ministry Partner DevelopmentBeing a Youth For Christ ministry worker requires Ministry Partner Development (which in short, means that all our ministry staff fundraises the salary and costs of the programs, and the majority of this is done prior to the applicant’s date of hire). The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team, which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the salary and ministry expenses. We believe that Ministry Partner Development is biblical, and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength, and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. We are committed to providing training and coaching that assists you in the success of your Ministry Partner Development.
