The Account Coordinator works as part of the Accounts team in coordinating our clients and our teams towards our strategic business focuses. The role is equal parts account coordination and client services, and requires a ton of working with people—both internally and externally—as you will be coordinating with our clients, our partners, as well as with our agency team.
After 6 months, you will have demonstrated a high potential to grow within the company. You will be able to work with multiple teams, stakeholders and clients on projects that rarely ever follow a straight line.
On a day-to-day basis, the Account Coordinator is responsible for:
  • Working closely with senior Accounts personnel and assisting them in day to day tasks
  • Working out timelines and keeping timelines up to date and on track
  • Sourcing talent, vendors and suppliers and assisting with contracts
  • Contributing to competitive intelligence gathering
  • Taking meeting notes and distilling into actions for the team
  • Keeping the creative and performance team on track
  • Contributing point of view on creative development
  • Assisting in keeping internal/external status meetings on track, as well as maintaining and upkeeping our project management tools
  • Brief in small projects and manage from start to finish
  • Submitting invoices/hours and ensuring vendors & freelancers are paid on time

The Account Coordinator will also routinely demonstrate the following:

Start Date: ASAPSalary Range: $50K/year. This role sits at a Level 1 on our Career LevelsLocation: Toronto-based hybrid role. Benefits:

Vacations - All staff at Academy receive:
  • Four-day work week policy
