WHAT'S THE JOB?

The Facilities Coordinator will manage building and equipment maintenance schedules, test building systems and prepare for emergencies by creating action plans and will be responsible for the maintenance of one building. The Facilities Coordinator will:

  • Oversee, plan and coordinate activities of maintenance and related assigned personnel.
  • Manage all maintenance PM and CM with the support of the maintenance staff.
  • Manage new purchases for maintenance parts and equipment.
  • Develop estimates from vendors which will provide cost, schedule and scope information for review and approval.
  • Prepare monthly reports to management as required.
  • Maintain and manage physical asset and storage site inventory.
  • Coordinate and monitor vendor's performance through performing building related services.
  • Assist management to develop and evaluate plans for facilities executed by vendors.
  • Inspect entire buildings to identify general corrective maintenance as necessary for maintenance and operation of various equipment, fixtures, etc.
  • Report deficiencies and recommend areas for improvement to management.
  • Ensure to maintain and continue operation of mechanical systems like HVAC systems, boiler, fans, generators, electrical switch gear and UPS systems.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair programs on all building mechanical infrastructures.
  • Update and maintain records to track maintenance and repairs.
  • Direct and manage any facilities emergencies.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • CMMS software
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills

Working knowledge of:

  • Fire safety systems
  • Heating and air conditioning systems
  • As built drawings
  • BAS software
  • Managing environmental health and safety programs is part of this position.
