How you'll make an impact:
In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating service contracts for all Sodexo divisions in Canada, analyzing legal issues and managing disputes. You will be in charge of all aspects of the contracts—from the initial proposal through the entire contract lifecycle. You will learn to manage specialized contracts and work closely with more experienced team members and lawyers on complex projects.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing RFP specifications to ensure compliance with Sodexo requirements.
Providing agreement templates and drafting documents to incorporate operational and financial changes.
Drafting and negotiating management agreements for new contracts, incorporating operational and financial terms into documents aligned with Sodexo standards.
Negotiating or assisting our operations and business development managers in contract negotiations.
Updating existing agreements through amendments or rewrites to reflect changes in services or financial arrangements.
Reviewing various subcontracting and supplier agreements and providing recommendations for revisions.
Drafting various documents in accordance with Sodexo standards, including but not limited to termination letters.
Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed:
Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken, to support pan-Canadian needs.
Bachelor of Law degree.
One to three years of experience in commercial contract administration.
Ability to negotiate specialized contracts.
Strong writing skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting at all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage priorities effectively.
