We're looking for a strategic thinker, a people-first leader, and a food service professional to join Team Dexterra as a General Manager.
About the Role
As our General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our operations—leading with purpose, inspiring teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Drive operational excellence across multiple units
- Build strong client relationships and ensure contract compliance
- Collaborate with Executive Chefs and Catering Directors to craft creative, on-brand menus and promotions
- Champion health, safety, and food handling standards
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and boost profitability
- Train, mentor, and grow your team into future leaders
- Lead new unit openings and construction projects
- Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for growth
- Partner with procurement to optimize inventory and supplier relations
Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Post secondary degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (or related field).
- 7+ years of leadership experience in food service or hospitality.
- Experience with franchise operations and contract management.
- Excellent Customer and Client experience skills.
- Strong business acumen and team development ability.
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- A calm, confident presence in both the kitchen and the boardroom.
- ServeSafe and/or FoodSafe certification (Red Seal is a bonus).
