MISSION
The Specialist, Indigo Marketing supports the strategy, planning, implementation and execution of Indigo's customer-centric marketing programs to drive growth, traffic and brand equity for the Indigo adult business (inspiring reading & simplifying thoughtful gifting).
KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS
- Retail & online traffic to deliver sales
- On time, on-budget delivery and execution of marketing plans (including planning, analysis & insight)
- Identification as a valued partner – internal and external
- Budget tracking and management
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Functional
- Coordinate execution of adult marketing programs and campaigns across trade and GM businesses (in support of Sr. Marketing Manager, Brand)
- Own key evergreen programs, including but not limited to book awards, author content, Reading Challenge
- Support full-year strategy pillars, including cross-functional projects, that touch the adult business
- Oversee & execute mass marketing briefs collaborating with internal and external partners, including channel marketing teams, creative studio, retail operations, merchants, vendors & publishers, events, and media agency, to ensure alignment and integration of all customer touch points
- Support planning, development and cross-functional communication of quarterly marketing communications plan
- Review creative assets to ensure brand adherence and guidelines are met across multiple channels
- Own and enhance key communications for retail teams
- Ownership of budget tracking
- Responsible for weekly reporting and hind sighting of key projects and quarterly results

- Influence and motivate cross-functional partners (Creative Studio, Channel Marketing Teams, Merchants, Retail Operations) to support marketing efforts, while developing seamless partnerships
- Take a customer-centric approach, proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs

Qualifications
Work Experience / Education / Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Business Management, Marketing) or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years experience in Marketing
- Retail and/or eCommerce experience preferred
- Experience working with advertising, media and copy development is preferred
