We are looking for a Financial Analyst to complete our mergers and acquisitions and financial analysis team. As such, you will have to contribute to the success of UAP's business opportunities by producing financial analyzes based on the economic viability of business plans for corporate and associated stores as well as the acquisition of businesses. Are you recognized for the quality and accuracy of your analyses, your analytical skills and good management of priorities? In addition, do you have strong communication skills in French and English? In particular, you will have to :

  • Participate in the complete process regarding an acquisition :
  • Ensure the assembly structure of the files and adapt the content.
  • Maintain analysis tools and improve modeling on Excel as well as integration with other platforms.
  • Validate financing choice for the transactions of the associate stores and ensure the financial viability of the project.
  • Calculate, determine and analyze the financial and operational parameters to judge the profitability of various corporate projects.
  • Present and align projects with the accounting department and ensure their support.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need:

  • A degree in Finance with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. CPA designation or in progress (an asset).
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transaction services (an asset).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, as you will need to collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada.
