As a software developer in engineering technologies at Canam, you will be called upon to work with civil engineers and 3D drafters on a wide range of projects.

Some of your responsibilities will include :

• Study and propose solutions to development, design or performance problems
• Participate in estimating and forecasting work scope
• Comply with architecture, design, implementation and security standards, and best practices
• Create web and IT applications to support engineers in their daily work
• Implement unit and integration tests and perform functional and performance tests
• Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high-quality results
• Participate in the team's Agile / Scrum activities

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and unit testing
• Knowledge of the following: C#, Javascript, working with databases, working with web apis
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English, as you will be interacting with French-speaking colleagues
