Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

The Forklift Operator, reporting to the Ship Loose Lead Hand, is responsible for the Movement, Loading/Unloading and Storage of materials.

This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Your work will include:

  • Daily inspection and documentation of equipment.
  • Unloading of trucks and storage of materials.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room or other area.
  • Participate in electronic inventory capture receiving and issuance.
  • Engage internal customers and respond to requests.
  • Load and unload, move or stack materials or products.
  • Completes daily Job Hazards Assessments and Pre Job Task Hazard Analysis forms.

Qualifications
  • Min 1-2 years experience (ticketed) in forklift operation.
  • Organization and cleanliness of equipment and facility location.
  • Ability enter / transfer information electronically
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.
  • Able to work individually and as a team member able to safely and comfortably carry out physical duties – lift max 45 lb and walk on rough terrain.
  • Attention to the details (clean up, stock level, observe damages, etc.)
  • Attention to health/safety of self and co-workers.
