Midland Transport is seeking a forward-thinking Sales Strategy Manager to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Customer Engagement:
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to support major customer initiatives
• Facilitate onboarding and integration of strategic accounts
• Act as a bridge between sales and operations to ensure alignment and execution
Sales Enablement & Training:
• Support the deployment and adoption of sales training programs
• Collaborate with regional sales leaders to reinforce best practices and customer-centric strategies
Market Intelligence & Insights:
• Manage the execution of customer satisfaction and benchmarking surveys
• Analyze results and develop actionable plans to enhance service delivery and close performance gaps
Sales Operations & Reporting:
• Drive adoption and optimization of sales tools and platforms
• Partner with internal stakeholders to implement process improvements aligned with strategic goals
• Deliver timely and insightful reporting to support sales leadership
Special Projects & Strategic Planning:
• Contribute to the planning and execution of key sales events, including conferences, strategic planning sessions, and budget reviews
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing or strategic sales role
• Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
• Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per month to Moncton, NB (for candidates based elsewhere)
• Knowledge of transportation or logistics operations is considered an asset
