JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Procurement Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement and supply chain function by ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchasing activities, maintaining supplier records, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting contract execution and material planning processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the procurement team by issuing purchase orders and maintaining vendor records
  • Assist in tracking supplier quality, cost, and delivery performance
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support supplier negotiations and long-term agreements
  • Monitor market trends such as pricing, lead times, and availability of materials
  • Provide administrative support on contractual documentation and claims
  • Assist with the development and execution of category sourcing strategies
  • Contribute to new product introduction efforts through purchasing support
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement workflows
  • Conduct basic cost analyses for goods and services

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement support role
  • Basic understanding of purchasing policies, contract terms, and supplier compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems
