JOB DESCRIPTION
Midland Transport is currently seeking for Dock Supervisor to be based at our Moncton Terminal. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.
Hours of work: 8AM to 3PM (Thursday-Friday) and 7AM to 8PM (Saturday-Sunday)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and training dock employees
- Working closely with dock team to ensure all freight will depart terminal on time
- Achieving and improving dock KPI goals
- Motivating employees to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensuring employees adhere to company procedures and policies
- Assisting in achieving Terminal and Company Goals such as on-time delivery, safety, and claims
QUALIFICATIONS
- Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Problem-solving ability with the required sense of urgency
- Detail-oriented
- Knowledge of AS400 (asset) and MS Office
- Cross dock and forklift experience
- Knowledge of productivity measures
- Working knowledge of different types of trailer equipment
