JOB DESCRIPTION
Midland Transport is currently seeking for Dock Supervisor to be based at our Moncton Terminal. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.
Hours of work: 8AM to 3PM (Thursday-Friday) and 7AM to 8PM (Saturday-Sunday)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and training dock employees
• Working closely with dock team to ensure all freight will depart terminal on time
• Achieving and improving dock KPI goals
• Motivating employees to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensuring employees adhere to company procedures and policies
• Assisting in achieving Terminal and Company Goals such as on-time delivery, safety, and claims

QUALIFICATIONS

• Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Problem-solving ability with the required sense of urgency
• Detail-oriented
• Knowledge of AS400 (asset) and MS Office
• Cross dock and forklift experience
• Knowledge of productivity measures
• Working knowledge of different types of trailer equipment
