JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Corporate Director of Operational Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading Operational Excellence program for our manufacturing sites, supporting the sites in improving operational performance, utilizing the Irving Management System.
Salary Range- $80,000-$95,000
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Site Teams in development and execution of annual improvement plans, including financial benefit tracking of all improvement initiatives.
• Enable best practice sharing and implementation to occur on all aspects of manufacturing processes and Irving Management System elements.
• Provide hands on leadership and support in capability development of Lean Six Sigma methodologies that drive sustainable improvements - i.e. DMAIC projects, Kaizen facilitation, 5S, Quick Change-over, TPM.
• Lead & Support Improvement Initiatives and Projects that are cross-site, cross-functional in nature.
• Work with Corporate or External support/best practice leaders/SMEs to bring improvements to the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post Secondary Diploma or Certificate
• Food Manufacturing Experience at supervisory level or above, in a Continuous Improvement environment.
• Coaching of Lean Six Sigma belt projects for certification
• Facilitation of Kaizen events involving LEAN principles, DMAIC improvement projects
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent attention to details and a high level of digital acumen
• Highly developed organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
