JOB DESCRIPTION
Working as part of the CSC Test & Trials Team, this role will support the Manager, CSC Test & Trials and Team Leads to develop a plan and schedule to enable the successful management and execution of the CSC Test & Trials Program aligned to achieving Product Acceptance and contractual sell-off of the River Class Destroyer.
The role will directly support the Team Leads, Test & Trials with the development of the Master Integration, Test and Evaluation Schedule (MITES), the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and the Integrated Test and Trials Plan (ITTP) and other associated work products.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of the MITES, VCRM and the ITTP.
  • Interface with the Planning Department to ensure the MITES aligns with the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Liaise with the Engineering Delivery Teams as required to support the CSC Test & Trials Program.
  • Support the overall Test & Trials team with other related deliverables requested by Senior Leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within job scope area and the broader Test & Trials Program.
  • Identify risks associated within their job scope area, their function, or the broader Test & Trials Program and participate in mitigation plans for risks identified.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Engineering Technology Diploma.
  • Experience (typically 4 to 10 years) working in the shipbuilding or defence industry.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) would be an asset.
  • Project Management qualification (or working towards) such as PMP would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of new build naval ship projects specifically integration of Platform Systems, Combat Systems and Commissioning.
