JOB DESCRIPTION
Planograms are essential tools that strategically map out product placement within our stores, ensuring a consistent, high-quality merchandise presentation. They serve as a foundational resource for category managers to implement product updates and new rollouts efficiently.
We are currently seeking a Planogram Specialist to join our team.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop expertise in merchandising, planogram principles, and planogram software. It also provides a strong career path toward future opportunities in store planning, purchasing, or project management.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with merchants, suppliers, and other merchandising planners to create planograms (merchandising layouts) for our home improvement product assortments.
  • Create planogram documents - using planogram and other reporting software - to support store rollouts.
  • Design and set up sample merchandising layouts in our planogram test centre to ensure optimal product placement.
  • Monitor and track all planogram rollouts & Space
  • Manage and coordinate special projects related to merchandising and space planning

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong interest in merchandising, with prior experience in retail space planning or product placement
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and a general aptitude for design software.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 4 hours, lifting medium-sized merchandise if required up to 50 lbs.
