JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods across all ATL warehouses. This role ensures accurate handling of deliveries, including short and long-term storage, and maintains detailed inventory records. Key duties include unloading trucks, inspecting shipments, managing fleet spare parts, and coordinating shipments to vessels and project sites. The Warehouse Administrator upholds a clean and safe (5S) work environment, operates warehouse equipment, and adheres to health and safety protocols. Occasional travel to various Atlantic Towing ports and project locations is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take receipt of purchase orders in the NSE for all ATL warehouses
  • Manage deliveries at 14 Bridge Street
    • Short term storage
    • Long term storage
    • Notify vessel of deliveries
  • Maintains a clean (5S) and safe work environment
  • Create detailed reports long term storage parts
  • Unloading trucks and checking deliveries for quantities and damage
  • Update listing for long term storage
  • Perform regular cycle counts for long term storage and report all discrepancies
  • Shipping orders to vessels and/or project locations
  • Manage deliveries and returns for fleet spares change out (i.e., turbos, steering pumps, etc.)
  • Maintain and operate warehouse equipment and vehicles
  • Organizing the warehouse and surrounding property
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and company specific warehouse procedures
  • Some travel to Atlantic Towing ports and/or project locations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent or Trade Certificate
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to multi-task effectively with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with basic computer knowledge
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive, manual material handling without restriction requiring (but not limited to) the following physical abilities: kneeling, bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping
  • Experience in logistics, dealing with various freight/courier partners
  • Forklift License an asset
