JOB DESCRIPTION
The Data Management Specialist is a collaborative member of the JDI IT team who is responsible for working with business stakeholders to elevate their level of competency related to data quality, data cataloging, master data management, and data governance in service of delivering business value.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitating workshops to identify data quality monitoring requirements
• Development of automated data quality monitoring jobs
• Product ownership for one or more of JDI's data management tools including but not limited to data quality solutions, data governance solutions, data cataloging solutions, and master data management solutions
• Participate/Lead in pilots as required to develop and refine new data management capabilities
• Incremental capability development and implementation within tools under their product ownership
• Maintain perspective on industry related data management trends, solutions, and capabilities within scope areas
• Onboarding and training business data stakeholders in JDI's data management tools and capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Required: A university degree, college diploma or a related discipline
• 2+ years' work experience in data management
• Proficiency in database management systems, data analysis, data profiling and cleansing, metadata management, MDM, and data governance
• Happy in an environment where you can work independently as well as collaboratively
• A practiced communicator with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and attention to detail
