JOB DESCRIPTION
The Parts and Fuel Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Lead Hand in daily harvesting operations on our sites, located throughout Colchester, Cumberland, and Pictou Counties. There is occasional travel to the HRM, Digby, Cape Breton, and Southern New Brunswick. There will also be regular travel to our Woodlands District Office in Truro, Nova Scotia. This is an entry-level role with the potential to grow into a Lead Hand position for the right candidate.
$22.70/hr + Mileage

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
- Fuel delivery to company equipment on harvesting sites
- Parts pick up from external vendors and delivery to harvesting sites
- General maintenance of the machines to reach utilization targets
- Reporting EMS incidents to Leadership Team
- Maintain a clean site to company standards by removing consumables and waste
- Ensure personal safety recording is completed and submitted to Leadership
- Assist in weekly calibration of machines
- Assist the Lead Hand on regular preventative maintenance
- Ensure the fuel trailer os stocked and fuel is available at all times
- Assist the Lead Hand in completing pit stop procedures during machine downtime
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome applicants who possess the following skills and qualifications to apply:
- Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum high school diploma
- Technical training in automotive/heavy equipment mechanics is preferred
- Experience working with or around mechanized forestry equipment is considered an asset
- Mechanical aptitude is required
- Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract is required
- Ability to work day and night shifts with some on-call availability is required
- Ability to work some weekends required
- Willingness to travel throughout the day to multiple job sites is required
