JOB DESCRIPTION
Working with the aggregate team at Gulf Operators, this role will provide you the opportunity to travel locally around parts of New Brunswick. It will also allow you to be involved in future continuous improvement initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
• Assist with planning and controlling aggregate site operations to ensure production in accordance with safety standards, design requirements, and budgeted cost expenditures to achieve production and safety KPIs.
• Align resources required to execute the tasks at the aggregate sites.
• Manage sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Interact with clients/customers.
• Prepare safety, production, cost, and downtime tracking reports.
• Source parts and services for ongoing operations and maintenance activities.
• Monitor Quality Control results and provide reports to customers as required.
• Act as a resource to teams at all aggregate sites.
• Assist site teams in managing product inventories.
• Prepare and monitor demand and production forecast reports.
• Schedule and perform regular site inspections to support the site's operations.
• Ensure all sites meet Health, Safety, and Environment requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Technology diploma.
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project and Excel
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate organization and clear communication.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.
