Job Description:

The Association du Musée acadien de l'IPE is looking for a student who will help in the organization of its archives, help researchers and other visitors, scan photos and documents, enter information in the databases and maintain the Acadian Research Centre's library. Training will be given for each of these tasks.

We are looking for someone who communicates well with clients, is resourceful, has good computer skills and is able to work well alone as well as on a team. The ideal candidate will be studying in the fields of archives, history, administration or other related fields, however this is not essential since we will be offering the training.

We welcome all interested individuals including Indigenous People, persons with disabilities, Black, racialized, ethnic and culturally diverse groups, as well as people regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identities, and gender expressions.

This bilingual position is for 14 weeks starting May 27 and the hourly wage is $16.50/hr for 37.5 hours/week. Candidates must be eligible for the Young Canada Works program and be between 16 and 30 years of age.
