Job Description:

Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, patient, and dependable Inclusion Support Worker to provide one-on-one support for a child within a childcare classroom setting. The successful candidate will work directly with the child to implement Individualized Behavioural Intervention (IBI) programming and support the child's participation in daily routines, activities, and social interactions.

This position requires collaboration with educators, families, and support professionals to help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one support to a child during daily classroom activities
• Implement IBI strategies and programming as directed by supervisors or support professionals
• Support the child's social, emotional, behavioural, and developmental goals
• Collect data and document observations related to the child's progress and behaviours
• Assist the child with transitions, routines, communication, and participation in activities
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
• Collaborate with classroom educators, inclusion staff, and outside professionals
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
