BGC Greater Saint John are seeking enthusiastic Outdoor Adventure Leaders for our Survival Camp locations. Leaders will be responsible for planning, leading and implementing summer outdoor adventure programming experiences for children and youth. Experiences taught include fire building, creating outdoor shelters in wooded areas, purifying water, identifying safe natural foods, etc. Candidates must have an interest and ability to work in the outdoors with children and youth. Duties for Outdoor Adventure Leaders will include, but not limited to:

• implementing daily outdoor activities;
• leading group activities with children and youth;
• identify and respond to child and youth behaviors;
• strong communication and teamwork skills;
• reporting issues to Manager

Other Qualifications

• clean criminal and vulnerable sector check;
• clean Social Development background check (internal check);
• valid Workplace Standard First Aid & CPR 'C' certification;
• valid driver's license
