Grand Bay Baptist Church is currently seeking to fill 2 Early Childhood Educator positions within their Summer Day care program with children aged 0 -12 at Tiny Treasures Learning Centre. A qualifying person must be physically able to keep up with the children, have a passion for working with young children and be able to work a variety of shifts between 7 am and 6 pm Mon-Fri. This position will be for a period of 12 weeks beginning on June 10th until August 30th for 40 hours per week. Job duties include: Planning, implementing and supervising day care activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children in the program. Maintain a welcoming, safe and healthy environment for children and their parents. Establish routines for children; providing them with positive guidance and building self-esteem. Ensure that equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times. Utilize the NB Curriculum Framework in daily routine.
