About the Job:

As a Camp Co-ordinator at RiverCross Church, you will oversee all Summer Student Ministry Interns and plans for our church's summer programs in consultation with the Youth and Family Pastor. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing summer day camps for children and youth
  • Planning large events for families
  • Serving at our Hope Mission Outreach
  • Leading Sunday morning activities for children
  • Empowering and encouraging volunteers

In addition, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and organizing weekly intern meetings, as well as participating in and supporting events and programs led by our Summer Ministry Interns. You will also be the primary contact person and promoter of our Summer programs.

A candidate (student) must:

  • Be a resident of New Brunswick (must have lived in New Brunswick for at least 6 months) or a First Nation community in New Brunswick;
  • Be eligible to work in Canada (must have a valid SIN number);
  • NOT be an immediate family member (spouse, children, parent, brother or sister) of the employer;
  • Be a high school student entering grade 10, 11, or 12 in September 2024; OR
  • Be a full-time Grade 12, university or college student in the current academic year of 2023-2024 AND attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall of 2024.
