About the Job:

As a Summer Program Leader at Sandy Cove Bible Camp, you will be empowered by the Director to fulfill the purpose of One Hope Canada both personally and within the camp. You will be responsible for running the camp program and serving as the face of the program for each week of camp. Your role is crucial in setting the pace and creating a unique "personality" for the summer of memories. Your primary objective is to effectively plan and implement skills and activities related to the program at our camp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the weekly camp schedule as set up by the Program Manager
  • Assign and supervise staff to be team leaders
  • Oversee the use and storage of all program equipment

A candidate (student) must:

  • Be a resident of New Brunswick (must have lived in New Brunswick for at least 6 months) or a First Nation community in New Brunswick;
  • Be eligible to work in Canada (must have a valid SIN number);
  • NOT be an immediate family member (spouse, children, parent, brother or sister) of the employer;
  • Be a high school student entering grade 10, 11, or 12 in September 2024; OR
  • Be a full-time Grade 12, university or college student in the current academic year of 2023-2024 AND attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall of 2024.
