About the Job:
As a Nursing Assistant at Kings Way Care Centre, you will be an integral part of our direct care team. Reporting directly to the RN/LPN in charge, you will assist care attendants with various tasks such as tidying rooms, providing light care duties like washing hands and faces, and spending quality one-on-one time with residents throughout the day. If you have PSW training, you will also be responsible for additional care duties. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lunch, transporting residents to and from the Dining Room for meals and activities/entertainment, socializing with residents, answering call bells, delivering healthy snacks and fluids, and more. You will also have the opportunity to engage residents in activities such as styling hair, nail care, manicures, and organizing entertainment.

- Be a resident of New Brunswick (must have lived in New Brunswick for at least 6 months) or a First Nation community in New Brunswick;
- Be eligible to work in Canada (must have a valid SIN number);

- Be a high school student entering grade 10, 11, or 12 in September 2024; OR
