Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, Quality Assurance & Food Safety, this role is primarily responsible for supporting a company-wide QA project. This includes working with plants to help deliver established milestones, tracking progress of assigned tasks and overall timely execution of the project.
Key Accountabilities
- Environmental monitoring program tracking and trending
- Coordinating project activities and timelines with plant QA Managers
- Standardizing sampling programs
- Preparing standard operating procedures
- Supporting development of reporting procedures
- Working directly with the QA leadership team as well as plant QA Leadership
- Weekly status reporting on key project milestones, team successes and project risks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program in Food Science or a related field
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Computer Literacy (intermediate MS Word, MS Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
