Position Title: Fuel Attendant (4-Month Term)

Salary: $19.00 /hour

Team and Location: Commercial - Powell River, BC

Position Summary: The Fuel Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional support to our Commercial team of Parkland for the 4 month term. The fuel attendant position requires vigilant attention to ensure safety for all and protection to property and the environment. This entails assisting vessels tying up to the dock and setting them up to fuel their vessels. Other daily duties include janitorial, restocking the warehouse and store, and disposal of waste oil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Awareness to health and safety conditions and hazards, and follow policies and procedures.
  • Assist marine vessels in mooring, fueling, and departing while creating an exceptional customer experience.
  • Perform daily janitorial and waste oil duties.
  • Other various duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • You are available for a 4-month term beginning on or around May of 2024.
  • You have exceptional customer service and possess natural leadership skills.
  • You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • You are able to work in a physically demanding work environment often outdoors, lifting or moving.
  • You are safety focused in all situations and are able to think critically in challenging situations.
  • Small vessel operation training, OFA Level 1 /Marine First Aid, WHMIS.
