Hours: 35 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 (depending on experience)

Location: RHF Office in Richmond, BC and some remote.

JOB SUMMARY

The Junior Accountant will perform a wide range of administrative duties for the Finance team. They will report to the Controller, work closely with the Finance team, as well as liaise with all RHF staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports including update relevant spreadsheets;
  • Provide support for any special projects, as needed;
  • Assist in entering vendor information in Salesforce;
  • Update and review financial data to ensure the accuracy of the information;
  • Assist in reconciliations, update accounts payable and receivable, and issue invoices;
  • Help draft and/or update documents and policies;
  • Assist in sorting incoming mail, mail payments and make deposits, as needed;
  • Assist in data management and storage, including combine financial documents and clean up of financial files;
  • Assist in preparing and processing financial entries to ensure proper recording of all business transactions; and
  • Perform other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the position.

An equivalent combination of education, experience and skills/behaviours will be considered.
