Office Administrator Summer Student

A 4-month term reporting to the Divisional Controller, your day-to-day responsibilities are balanced with working at the front desk of the main office and backup for other team departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry, reconciling, and reviewing material for the team
  • Preparing reports and assisting with various reporting requirements
  • Tracking and processing various invoice and payments
  • Backup for other teams, including Accounts Payables and Payroll. This will include working with Oracle and UKG
  • Assisting in accounting as opportunities exist
  • Answering the phone and directing calls
  • Arranging couriers and managing mail
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Booking board rooms and assisting to prepare materials for various meetings
  • Assisting with other duties and projects as required

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • Post-secondary education or working towards a diploma would be an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of Programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Quick learner and flexible to pick up different duties as needed
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

This position is based out of Hinton, Alberta, 20 minutes east of Jasper National Park and 2.5 hours west of Edmonton, Alberta.
