Profile
We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our In-Service Engineering - Structures Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of the In-Service Engineering Team assigned to the issuance of structural repair drawings and dispositions for damaged in-service aircraft, in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulatory / Government Agencies (TCCA, FAA, EASA, etc.) and De Havilland Aircraft requirements, having as the main goal, the aircraft return to service in optimum time.
- Assist in the development of Repair Designs and associated Stress Analysis
- Development of software tools to optimize the development of repair designs and stress analysis
- Coordinate with other sections and departments to ensure the development of comprehensive, optimized, and efficient repair solutions.
- Work to improve existing technical and procedural processes within In-Service Engineering to provide the best service to Operators, where necessary.
- Investigate Operator requests and recurring fleet issues
- Work effectively in partnership with members of the Customer Response Centre to provide coordinated responses to Customer queries.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering Program (Aerospace or Mechanical).
Skills
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including CATIA V5, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
