Function SummaryReporting to the Supervisor, Family Medicine, this role is responsible for greeting people arriving at offices within the hospitals and clinics, directing visitors to appropriate person or service, answering and forwarding telephone calls, taking messages, scheduling appointments and performing other clerical duties.

Required Qualifications
  • Completion of high school diploma and post-secondary education in a relevant field such as medical office administration, health administration, business administration, office or health records management
  • Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement)

  • Experience as a receptionist or clerk in a healthcare setting
