The Day Camp Worker will provide leadership in the daily activities of our day camp program, ensuring that children are included in all activities.

- Full-time
- Assists in implementing a summer program for children ages 6-11
- Assists with advertising and promotion of the camp program
- Interacts broadly with congregation members, community partners, and neighborhood families
- Assists with camp clean up at the end of each camp
Education/Certifications:
- Must be a high school graduate with at least one year of post-secondary education (an alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable)
- Clear and current Criminal Police Investigation Check (CPIC) and Child/Adult Abuse Registry Check
- First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to attain
Experience:
- Prior experience planning programs and supervising children is required
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
- Background check consent
- Education verification
- Excellent time management skills including the ability to effectively handle competing priorities and emerging demands
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and co-workers
- Ability to treat information in a confidential manner
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
