Queen Tour Niagara Falls Tours is one of the city's top Niagara Falls tour operators since 1994. We have 5000+ online reviews and our staff are treated very well. We are looking for a part-time tour guide/bus driver to join our team.

Your day will include picking up a vehicle from 13 to 28 passengers in North York (Dufferin and Finch), driving to Downtown Toronto to pick guests up, and then heading to Niagara Falls. You will be providing them with some commentary along the way and at Niagara Falls. You'll have a few hours of (paid) free time in Niagara Falls while they do their own thing. From there, you'll head to a few other destinations in Niagara, then head back to Toronto. You'll need to be at the parking lot in North York for 6:30 AM and return around 6:30 PM.

Our tour operates every day except Saturday. There is all-year availability including winter. In addition to the agreed pay, you will earn gratuities, commissions and a monthly bonus. The base pay is around $25 per hour depending on experience, for an average of a 12-hour shift. This usually looks like $290-320 per day base, plus anywhere from $150-$250 in tips/commissions/bonuses per day.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

• Drive the bus safely and in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act (including completing your daily inspection every morning)
• Manage customer questions during the tour
• Share knowledge about Toronto and Niagara Falls with live commentary during the bus ride, in a fun and engaging way, and then in Niagara Falls
• Be accountable for passenger safety and communicate with them by text/call when needed
• Clean the bus at the end of the day

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a Niagara Parks tour guide license and be able to give commentary through a headset during the tour (required)
• Must have a valid bus driving license (F or higher required)
• Minimum 3 years experience doing tours or similar work (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial bus driving experience in Canada and **the ability to get a letter from a previous insurer** (required)
• Clean driver's abstract with no major infractions: a current copy of your driver's abstract will be requested (required)
• Must be fluent and clear in spoken English
• Reference will be requested from a previous employer*

• Are you able to provide "letters of experience" from a previous commercial insurance policy that your name was listed on? We require a minimum of 3 (preferably 5) years of accumulative experience on another company's insurance policy. Otherwise, you will not be able to be insured on our policy. You can show a letter of experience from multiple policies as long as the total exceeds at least 3 years.
• Do you have a clean driver's abstract in the last 3 years? It's okay to have a minor issue.
