An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Commercial / Elysia department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. This role is the cornerstone of bringing together customer and market demands, leveraging those to help create amazing products and pushing them into the market. Working closely with product managers, you'll be responsible articulating the product positioning and translating that into strong go-to-market strategies which the commercial teams can utilise.

You'll be the go-to person when it comes to product marketing in your portfolio area, understanding the customer buying journey and utilising product marketing frameworks to guide teams from concept to commercialisation. You'll work with the business-wide Product Marketing and Intelligence team to build best-practise frameworks and processes, but have the autonomy to decide on the product marketing output needed for your business unit.

Job role:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to complete the commercial deliverables for the New Product Creation Scheme, such as voice of customer research and positioning recommendations.
  • Lead the acquisition of voice of customer Insights to inform our customers buying journeys and positioning recommendations.
  • Work with the Competitor and Market Intelligence team to obtain market information.
  • Own the creation, collation, and dissemination of the go to market strategy for the portfolio.
  • Identify competitive differentiated values and use those to create strong value propositions that the that resonate with your audience.
  • Develop positioning statements and messaging that resonates with our customers by leading internal discovery workshops and using insight data.
  • Educate the business on product value propositions, differentiators, and positioning, ensuring we are all talking about our products in the same way.
  • Support the commercial channels; educate them on the problems we solve for our buyers and how to translate those into their departments.

You'll have:

  • Significant experience working within Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, Channel Marketing or other roles that demonstrate the ability to translate customer insight into go to market strategies.
  • Strong experience of working within the B2B SaaS, Battery Domain or similar.
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of key product marketing practises and frameworks.
  • Have experience in collecting and analysing insights to make strategic decisions.
  • Experience of creating go to market strategies.
  • Proven track record of building and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Are a strong communicator with the ability to synthesize complicated product attributes into easily digestible language.

  • A strong leader with experience in moving cross functional teams toward business goals.
  • Someone with experience in a Product Marketing / Segment Marketing role within a B2B digital or software environment.
