We are at the forefront of the Electrical Power Industry, serving the Western Canadian Market with excellence.*Position Summary:*REV is seeking a mid-level Power Systems Electrician or Electrical Technologist to join our Field Service team as a Field Service Representative. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals who are experienced in working with High Voltage power systems and are eager to advance their careers through field experience and leadership development. With a focus on safety, team collaboration, and continuous learning, you will receive extensive training on safety precautions and various test equipment used in the industry.*Position Duties/Responsibilities:*As a Field Service Representative with REV, you will have the chance to expand your field experience and assume leadership responsibilities. Your duties will include participating in Field Service projects, independently coordinating Electrical Maintenance and Commissioning projects at client facilities, mentoring apprentice technicians, and developing your leadership skills. Key responsibilities include:* Continuously participating in Field Service projects and assuming project leadership* Testing microprocessor protective relays (Schweitzer, GE Multilin, etc.)* Conducting Doble testing of electrical equipment (Transformers, Circuit breakers, etc.)* Performing electrical switching and clearance for isolation* Testing and commissioning electrical apparatus and protection and control equipment and systems (ranging from 480/600V 4000A industrial distributions to 240kV 100MVA substations)* Independently coordinating smaller projects* Troubleshooting electrical circuits and providing support in emergency situations to field staff* Being part of REV's 24hr emergency response rotation* Preparing technical reports for completed services at client facilities*Position Qualifications:** 1-3 years of experience in a Power Systems Electrician or Electrical Engineering Technologist role. JM Electrician experience would be considered an asset.* Power Systems Electrician, Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma, or Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited Canadian institution* Previous experience in an industrial setting with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills* Strong mechanical aptitude and proficient in the use of hand and power tools* Energetic team player committed to advancing field experience* Safety-conscious with a keen interest in continuous learning of safety precautions and procedures* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment* Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products*Additional Information/Requirements:** Willingness to travel intermittently for short durations, occasionally with minimal notice* Experience working in variable weather conditions* Flexibility for 24/7 emergency on-call rotation and weekend work* On-the-job safety training including First Aid, WHIMIS, H2S Alive, CSTS, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, Basic Electrical Safety, and Arc Flash Awareness* Must meet customer site Pre-Access requirements*Application Closing Date:* Open until a suitable candidate is found.
