Salary: Our salaries generally range from $121,130.97 to $151,413.71 and are based on qualifications and experience.

About the role

Join the Business Transformation Sector at CMHC, where we effectively deliver technology enabled transformative initiatives, harnessing robust core capabilities, that set CMHC up for long term success. As part of the Sector Operations and Change Management team, in this Bilingual Advisor, Planning, Prioritization and Governance role, you will use your leadership, strategic thinking and analytical skills to lead horizontal integrated planning, risk governance and operational activities at the sector level.

What you'll do:
  • Offer advice and guidance to the Sector Management team regarding the alignment of strategic plans across the sector and effective execution of key priorities.
  • In alignment with the sector vision and priorities, ensure and lead a cohesive approach to strategic planning and performance measurement.
  • Ensure effective risk management practices are in place, and support 1B/ Privacy Lead/Business continuity activities.
  • Support strategic, corporate and/or operational activities that require sector alignment, oversight and coordination.
  • Lead the development and execution of the sector engagement plan, focusing on development needs and enhancing overall employee engagement.
  • Act as integrator and key horizontal communication enabler within the sector.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and collaboration across different divisions within the sector.
What you should have:
  • An Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, or similar.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience focusing on strategic thinking, planning, risk management, advising senior executives.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication, with strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills, enabling effective engagement with Executives and Management teams.
  • The ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources and appreciate nuances / make linkages across stakeholders who have differing objectives and perspectives.
  • Outstanding leadership skills to create an organizational climate that is engaging and enables people to contribute to their full potential; develop and assign objectives and priorities and empower people to take ownership of their work, with the appropriate level of authority to deliver timely outcomes within the risk appetite framework of the sector.
